Taken in El Capitan meadow of fallen trees within the Yosemite National Park in northern California. Forest fires are common in the park and take their toll for on the grand tress and wildlife.

Intimate Landscape Images

Sometimes splendid beauty is found in the small scenes rather than grand vistas. The light that reflects off the sheer cliffs in Yosemite creates a special glow that highlights the special petite and delicate things.

El Capitan meadow lies within the Yosemite National Park in northern California. Sheer cliffs cut by glaciers tower over the Yosemite Valley, and here, in the El Capitan meadow, the early morning light bounces off the monoliths to create a lovely glow.
